introduction (1-minute read)

hello this is my first blog post, thanks for reading. i will do my best to keep this short and sweet and interesting.

my name is teresa- teresa nguyen. i'm 19 and i attend california state university x.

i’ve been working my butt off at my restaurant job, so i always get asked why i work so much; i always respond, “i’m saving up” but for what?

i’m not sure.

in september of 2018, my english professor brought out my wanderlust. “if you have the chance to study abroad, do it.”

so after working full-time while being a full-time student, early mornings of opening, late nights of closing, hours of overtime, several doubles, call-ins, and covers…

my savings have a purpose. so here i am- studying abroad!

i am currently in london, england. i live in a homestay with 6 other girls also studying abroad (6?! i know right). i am learning about british life and culture, knocking off ge capstones, and doing an internship.

this is such an amazing opportunity. so amazing, i thought that i would share my experiences, memories, thoughts, opinions, and anything of that sort right here on this blogging platform.

my program began on 25 january 2019 but it’s still not too late for a blog, am i right?

i love writing, but i think that this form of writing is better to express my thoughts in a concise and cohesive way.
